My Sculpted Sunflowers are hands down my most popular design! I create this design in many sizes of platters, bowls and plates for a variety of uses and display purposes.

All the petals and leaves are hand cut from premium art glass, assembled and fused fired at a temperature to allow the pieces to melt together but still have a texture to the touch.  After fusing, the glass the edges are hand cut and cold-worked so the petals and shape is even more defined. It is then slumped in the kiln again, in a ceramic mold to obtain the final desired shape. 

This unique and beautiful design makes a lovely statement on a table in a special spot or serving quests wonderful appetizers or sweet treats. This is functional art anyone would treasure - perfect for a wedding gift or birthday gift for someone very special.

The glass dish measures 13" diameter and 1.5" deep and has a flat bottom. 100% food safe. Do not use in microwave. Hand washing recommended.
